Albert is a payment and remittance policy expert with over two decades of experience in financial sector reforms including remittance policies and regulatory frameworks.
Before joining UNCDF, Albert worked with the Central Bank of Tanzania in various capacities including, but not limited to, reforming financial sector regulatory frameworks, restructuring financial institutions, and providing technical support to financial institutions. He also participated in projects for the roadmap toward the East Africa Community Monetary Union. Albert has also previously worked as a business assurance and advisory services expert at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Tanzania.
Albert holds an MSc in Finance from the University of Strathclyde (UK) and is a Certified Public Accountant.
