Amela is a senior finance professional with more than 21 years of international experience in financial management. She has worked with UNDP and UNCDF for 10 years, delivering large projects for, among others, the European Commission and the UK Department for International Development.
Amela’s rich experience in diverse and multicultural environments has enabled her to lead large teams, propose creative and effective solutions, compile financial and donor reports, and recommend reallocating funds as necessary.
Amela is an ACMA/CGMA Associate and is a qualified Management Accountant with the CIMA Institute in London. She holds a combined business and finance degree from the University of Westminster and Rotterdam’s Erasmus Programme (UK).
