Amil leads the strategy and implementation of the Migration and Remittances portfolio at UNCDF, managing key relationships, including donors, stakeholders and United Nations agencies. Amil has been instrumental in other United Nations initiatives, including the Secretary General’s Task Force on Digital Financing of the Sustainable Development Goals.
Amil began his career in management consulting with Accenture in India and KPMG in the US, where he led engagements across pharmaceutical, financial, healthcare, and government clients. Amil holds a B-Tech. in Computer Science from the Jaypee University of Information Technology (India) and an MA in International Finance and Economic Policy from Columbia University (US).
