A Senior Systems and Research Specialist for Migration and Remittances, Houle uses financial inclusion data and research to inform the development of policies and practices for financial service providers, investors, and regulators. He provides technical assistance to remittance and other financial service providers on evidence-based decision-making, migrant- and gender-centric product innovation, and policy.

Houle has accrued nearly 10 years of professional experience, serving as a country representative for the State Taxation Administration of China, and then working with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
